The Hootenanny is a brand new two-day pop festival coming to Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh in May 2027.
We’re not here to be cool. We’re here to build Scotland’s biggest pop party.

MEET JAMIE
I want to build the festival I’d actually want to go to.
Hi I’m Jamie. I’m an Edinburgh-based entrepreneur and marketer - and for the past eight I’ve been part of the team behind Pride Edinburgh.
I kept thinking about the kind of festival I’d want to go to. One with massive pop icons but that felt truly Scottish. Nostalgia celebrated not apologised for. A place where you can turn up exactly as you are.
Eventually I stopped talking about it and decided to build it.
